BSES Chasing Cheetahs
This program is dedicated to the enhancement of lifelong knowledge of fitness and nutrition for boys. The goals for the program are to help the participants reach a higher level of individual aerobic fitness, muscular fitness, and have a better understanding of personal nutrition needs.
§ Open to all 4th and 5th grade boys
§ Dates: Tuesday and Thursday mornings 8:00am-9:15am October/November
§ Participants must commit to be on time each morning and ready for 60+ minutes of activity/session, over the duration of the program
§ All sessions will meet in the BSES gymnasium, but participants must be dressed to go outside for daily activity, weather permitting
§ Students must have sneakers that tie and are appropriate for running and a variety of physical activities on different surfaces
§ Students will be provided a healthy breakfast each morning, prior to going to classes (which they will get to on-time!)
§ Students will track their fitness using pedometers to help them create and track their personal fitness goals
Chasing Cheetahs Applications will be sent home in Friday Folders in September.
